A heavy-duty cast iron Christmas tree stand, painted dark green, with an ornate pierced and relief-cast base featuring Christmas tree and arch motifs.
The square base has four raised corner feet for stability.
The central cup holds the tree trunk and is secured by four eye-bolt tightening screws.
Marked "China" on the underside.
The paint shows some wear and the tightening bolts have surface rust, but the stand is solid and fully functional. A substantial, sturdy stand that will hold a good-sized tree. Opening is approximately 6" diameter, and the bolts reduce that slightly.
